Depending on where we are on the curve, I both agree and disagree with the use of appropriation. However, I believe it is a necessary evil in the world of art and design. Without it, our work would be stagnant and dull. I take heart in knowing that since only valuable things can have controversy, appropriation in design will not be going away anytime soon.
